Meditation helps you find ease and contentment in the present moment, as it is.

Research has demonstrated that regular meditation actually changes the structure of the brain, hard-wiring you for emotional fulfilment! Regular meditation allows us to begin to free ourselves from our deeply grooved conditioning and from destructive personal habits, bringing us home to authenticity and a spacious awareness characterised by increased clarity, creative energy, empathy, calmness, and enjoyment of life.

I am a practising Zen Buddhist with a good grounding in various meditation techniques and a strong daily personal meditation practice. Unlike many mindfulness teachers, this means I can offer coaching and instruction from my own authentic experience as a daily meditator with many years of practice.  Whether you are an atheist, religious or describe yourself as spiritual, we can work together to find a meditation practice that will meet your needs and benefit your life in a powerful way. I offer:

  • Meditation Coaching, in which I will instruct you on how to meditate effectively and give you advice, tips and motivation to build and sustain a daily meditation practice.
  • Mindfulness Courses inspired by Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention programmes. This will give you a solid foundation in mindfulness training over eight weeks of intensive practice.
  • Group meditation sessions at a reduced rate.
  • Guided meditations in which I will guide you through a relaxing meditation that will leave you feeling calm and centred, peaceful yet refreshed and energised. These meditations can also be personalised to meet your individual needs and include personalised affirmations. Recorded Guided Meditation CDs are also available, which I can personalise to your particular needs and preferences. We can discuss your preferred length, music, goals and any affirmations you might like included in your CD.
